Looking Forward to Fall!
We have a lot of bridals scheduled in the next few weeks for our fall clients. I'm getting so excited for the rich colors and textures that come with fall weddings! This bouquet today included 'Black Magic' roses, 'Circus' roses, mango mini callas and chocolate cosmos. I am a huge fan of the chocolate cosmos---they are a deep burgundy/brown color and the actually smell like chocolate!

Blue Hydrangea
Heather and Ben's wedding was so unique and so blue! They chose black and blue as their colors. We used shades of blue hydrangea in the bouquets, centerpieces and cake. The boutonnieres and corsages were made with blue tweedia. My favorite part? It's a tie between the hanging hydrangea pomanders that were placed above the cake table and the ribbon/picture gallery we set up behind the wishes table...

Brown + Baby Blue
If you've been reading bridal magazines for the last year or so, then you know that brown is being hailed as "the new black" by just about everyone in the business. I too am a big fan of color combinations with brown--and last week we got a do a wedding that was chocolate brown and baby blue! This obviously poses a few problems for flowers, since there are relatively few choices for brown or bably blue flowers. So, we used 'Hot Chocolate' mini calla lilies for the bridal bouquet--they're more of a deep plum brown, but gorgeous nonetheless! For the bridesmaids we used white mini callas and white freesia wrapped in baby blue ribbon cuffs. And for the corsages and boutonnieres, we used white mini callas and freesia with brown ribbon-wrapped stems.
